AUTOCAMPER

Los mancunianos, más que jóvenes promesas, son calidad asegurada. Ellos se definen como "not twee, not anorak, not lucky, just pop". ¡Claro y cristalino!

Con unos pocos sencillos publicados y su debut en formato LP de inminente estreno ("What do you do all day?", Slumberland Records), AUTOCAMPER ha conseguido que su sonido, a medio camino entre la frescura actual y la nostalgia de tiempos pasados, embelese a crítica y público gracias a sus canciones de cándida y agridulce sinceridad con espíritu jangle pop pero sin revisionismo del C86.

COLA JET SET

Después de varios años fuera del circuito de salas y festivales, el grupo surgido de las cenizas de Los Fresones Rebeldes regresan a los escenarios para alegría de los que disfrutábamos del pop más optimista confeccionado en castellano.

Tras una serie de conciertos que ofrecerán en Londres, Middlewich y Barcelona, COLA JET SET recalará en nuestro festival con su pop inmediato de querencias sixties pero que no se cierra a otros tipos de influencias melódicas y rítmicas.

JETSTREAM PONY

Teníamos muchas ganas de tener a los chicos de Brighton por tierras malagueñas. Su sonido, consistente en chispeantes melodías que nacen de "la pasión por el post-punk e indie pop" como ellos mismos se definen, nos arrebató durante su concierto en una pasada edición de nuestro festival hermano Madrid Popfest.

Así que no había dudas a la hora de invitar a estos insignes adalides del pop más independiente pertenecientes a otras bandas míticas como Aberdeen, Trembling Blue Stars, The Wedding Present o The Popguns.

PÁLIDA TEZ

Todo sabéis que uno de nuestros objetivos es dar mayor visibilidad a nuevas generaciones dentro del pop y, en este caso, acertamos de pleno con estos albaceteños que facturan un noise pop melódico de guitarras afiladas y contundente base rítmica.

Comenzaron editando canciones desde el 2022 dentro de la escudería de El Genio Equivocado y, poco a poco, han conseguido una pequeña carrera de gran proyección que ha desembocado en el reconocimiento como Mejor Banda Emergente en el Referéndum 24 del programa "Todos los Discos son Grandes" de nuestro querido Julio Ruiz.

AUTOCAMPER

These mancunians, more than just rising young artists, are top class quality. They define themselves as "not twee, not anorak, not lucky, just pop." Crystal clear!

With just a few singles out and their debut LP about to be released ("What do you do all day?", Slumberland Records), AUTOCAMPER has managed to enchant music lovers and media with their candid and bittersweet sincerity, a jangle-pop spirit, but without the C86's revisionism.

COLA JET SET

After several years away from venues and festivals circuit, the band that emerged from the ashes of Los Fresones Rebeldes returns to the stage for the joy of those, like us, who love the most sunny upbeat pop crafted in Spanish.

This autumn after doing a set of shows in London, Pop at the Lock (Middlewich) and Barcelona during the summer, COLA JET SET will be arriving at our festival with their 60s feel instant pop, with influences from another types of melodic and rhythmic sounds.

JETSTREAM PONY

We were really looking forward to having this Brighton band in Málaga. Their sound, consisting of sparkling melodies born from "a post-punk and indie pop passion" as they define themselves, wowed us during their show at the 2022 Madrid Popfest.

So there was no doubts to ask these masters of independent pop, former members of legendary bands like Aberdeen, Trembling Blue Stars, The Wedding Present, and The Popguns, to come to the 2025 MALAGA POPFEST.

You know that one of our main goal as a Popfest is to give greater visibility to the new generations of pop music, and in this case, we hit the nail on the head with this Albacete locals who produce melodic noise pop with sharp guitars and a powerful rhythmic base.

They have been releasing songs since 2022 with the El Genio Equivocado label, achieving a great projection that has led to be recognize as the 2024 Best Emerging Band in "Todos los Discos son Grandes" the music radio podcast held by our beloved Julio Ruiz.
